YOUTH MINISTRIES
SAMMY OMESA - YOUTH LEADER

Sammy Omesa is our Youth Leader at Abundant Waters Fellowship. Sammy was born in Kisii, Kenya and later moved with his family to Kericho, a small town 140 miles from Nairobi.
His Father pastors a very successful Church there and Sammy was the Youth Leader there. He was brought up in the ways of the Lord and never departed from them. His favorite saying is to bend a tree while it is still young and it will grow the way that you direct it.
Sammy has great integrity and character and is a good example to the youth. He speaks English, Hindi, Swahili and two other Kenyan dialects.
The Zero Gravity Youth Group is for young people ages 12-19. They meet every Sunday morning after the Praise and Worship Service in the main Sanctuary is completed. The youth are dismissed to go with Sammy out to the Youth Building. This takes place at approximately 10:45 a.m.
The last Friday night of the month they have a special Fellowship Service from
8 p.m. to 10 p.m. There is a short teaching that is ministered to the youth and then they have time to play pool, air hockey, table tennis, and video games. There is also volleyball and basketball for outside activities.
There are also other special events that they do from time to time throughout the year.
