| At Abundant
Waters Fellowship, we are actively reaching out to our community, city, state,
nation, and world with the message of Jesus Christ. The following ministries
are outreaches of Abundant Waters Fellowship that are helping us see the vision
accomplished. |
Prision
Ministry
|
In Hebrews
13:3, we are instructed to "Remember the prisoners as if chained with them..."
We are actively obeying this scripture and reaching out to those who are in
prison. Through personal ministry one on one with the prisoners, we are able to
demonstrate the love of Christ and minister to their individual needs. Also, we
are able to distribute books authored by Pastor Brown to the inmates that help
them to grow strong in their relationships with the Lord. These books are given
to the prisoners at no charge.
It is our desire to see them
rehabilitated by the Word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit. |
Street and
Door-to-Door Ministry
|
"Then the
master said to the servant, 'Go out into the highway and hedges, and compel
them to come in that my house may be filled." Luke 14:23.
We are going
out into the communities of Northwest Houston and sharing the Gospel of Jesus
Christ. We have seen many people born again as a result of this ministry. We
pass out small tracts that are really "little Bibles." There is nothing in them
but scriptures and a prayer of salvation. They are some of the best witnessing
tools available today. |
Tape of
the Month
|
Every
month, we send out over 200 free tapes to individuals in the United States and
around the world. 170 of these tapes are sent to pastors and missionaries in
foreign countries. We are currently sending tapes to these countries:
Philippines, Liberia, Nigeria, Botswana, Haiti, Benin, Mexico, Spain,
Italy, Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, Malaysia, New Zealand, India,
Hong Kong, Nepal, Kenya, Guatemala, South Africa, Canada, and England.
As we sow these tapes into ministers overseas, we are having an
impact not only on them, but also on the people the Lord has called them to
minister to. |
Book
Distribution
|
This is one
of the most effective ministry tools that we have implemented since the
inception of Abundant Waters Fellowship, Pastor Brown has authored twenty books
and each one of them is available in Spanish and English. There are also nine
books printed in French, and Overcoming Obstacles for Divine Breakthrough is
printed in Malayalam (a dialect in India) as well. They are having a major
impact on ministers in these following countries:
Nicaragua, Mexico, Honduras,
Guatemala, the Philippines, India, Bhutan, Hong Kong, Kenya, Spain, Morocco,
Switzerland, Benin, Liberia, Nigeria, Botswana, Ivory Coast, and Venezuela.
They are being used in Sunday schools, Bible schools, prisons, and
churches. To date, there are over sixty thousand books in distribution that
have been given to prisoners, ministers, and Bible schools at no charge.
Our desire is to train, equip, and develop, ministers and their
congregations into disciples of Jesus Christ.

Supporting
Foreign Missionaries
|
At Abundant
Waters Fellowship, we take the "Great Commission" as a very serious thing. We
know that the Lord has many fruitful workers in His vineyard today. Our desire
is to listen to the Holy Spirit and allow Him to direct us to the ministries He
would have us be a part of.
We are able to support missionaries with
finances, books, and also personally taking trips to these countries and
imparting life-changing truths through church services, pastors meetings, and
crusades.
Since the beginning of Abundant Waters Fellowship in April of
1993, we have been able to sow over four hundred seventy five thousand dollars
into home and foreign missions.
In the late 1970's, when Pastor Brown
gave his life to the Lord, the Holy Spirit placed a scripture in his heart
concerning his future ministry.
"Indeed He says, 'It is too small a
thing that you should be My servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob and to
restore the preserved ones of Israel, I will also give you as a light unto the
gentiles, that you should be my salvation to the ends of the earth." Isaiah
49:6
The Lord showed Pastor Brown that, not only would he be a pastor
of a congregation of believers but that he would also travel to other parts of
the world to minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ. To date, he has ministered in
nineteen different countries and on six continents of the world. Doors continue
to open, as people are hungry to hear the truth of the Word of God.

Abundant
Waters Fellowship

| Abundant
Waters Fellowship was started on Easter Sunday morning in 1993 in a Holiday Inn
in Northwest Houston. After being there for three months, the church was moved
to a lease space at the corner of Jones Road and Highway 290. The church was
there for five years. |

"After
believing the Lord for six years, He has brought us into our promised land." (2
Samuel 7:10) The church is situated on five acres of land that is off of
Windsong Trail between Clay Road and Kieth Harrow in the Bear Creek, Northwest
Houston area.
