In the world
we live in today, there seem to be more problems than answers. Many are facing
situations that they just do not know how to overcome. Concerns about finances,
children, marriages, college tuitions, protection, political stability just to
name a few are at the forefront of our problems in today's society. However,
when we build out lives on the principles of the Word of God, all of the
surmounting problems bow down to the wisdom and counsel found in the Bible.
Proverbs 21:30 says there is no wisdom or understanding or counsel
against the Lord. Simply stated there is no problem that the Bible does not
have the answer for.
If our desire is to have a good family and enjoy
the blessings of God we can make the choice to have that in our lives.
In Deuteronomy 30:19 the Bible says, "I call heaven and earth to record
this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and
cursing; therefore choose life, that you and your seed may live."
This
was Moses instruction to Joshua and the children of Israel to make a choice and
to walk in God's best. God was willing to bless them but they had to make the
choice to follow Him.
Joshua heeded Moses' voice and entered into the
promised land and enjoyed the blessings of God. "... But as for me and my
house, we will serve the Lord." Joshua 24:15
The blessings of God that
He has for your life are just one decision away. Determine today to make that
choice and you will never regret that you did.
